Barbecue at the Ugory Social Welfare Home

The barbecue season is here, and our team had the opportunity to participate in an event that will remain in our memories for a long time.

On Monday, we visited the Ugory Social Welfare Home in Poznań, where we organized an extraordinary barbecue for the residents. It was an unforgettable event, full of joy and shared celebration.

Preparations

The action began early in the morning, when at 7:00 our team went shopping. It was a real raid through the shops to stock up on all the necessary products for grilling. We wanted to make sure that we would not lack anything and that the grill would be a culinary success.

At 8:00 we arrived at the institution with a full arsenal of equipment and products. Our team immediately got to work – some were assembling the grill, while others were setting up tables, carrying chairs, and putting up umbrellas. Everything had to be ready in time for the seniors to fully enjoy the event.

Grilling feast

When everything was ready, we fired up the grill and invited seniors to join us in celebrating. We were particularly keen to ensure that everyone could take part in the event, which is why we helped transport people in wheelchairs. The smiles on the faces of the residents were the most important indicator of success for us.

The hit of the barbecue feast was blood sausage from Lidl. It was a real culinary gem that gained huge recognition among everyone present. Fortunately, there were enough blood sausages for everyone.;)

Atmosphere and music

Throughout the event, music resounded – Krzysztof Krawczyk, Abba, and other hits that made the barbecue more enjoyable. Despite the changeable weather, which kept bringing rain, we managed and did not let it disrupt this wonderful day.

The smiles of the seniors brought us the greatest joy. We learned that many of them had been looking forward to the joint barbecue and did not want to miss it. This is a great honor for us!

Thank you

We would like to thank the residents of the Ugory Social Welfare Home for the wonderful atmosphere and Mrs. Ania Lis, who helped organize the entire event. We believe that the barbecue equipment donated to the center will serve for many years, providing many unforgettable moments and delicious dishes!

Doing good is really cool, and we are glad that we could bring a little joy to the lives of seniors. It was an amazing adventure and we can’t wait for more opportunities to celebrate together.

Thank you all for your support and participation in this special day!
